Day 47 London, ON to Breslau, ON

We left this morning in a pretty large group and it stayed that way all day. We had about 71 miles and no one was in a particular hurry. The flat land turned into rolling hills.

At about 45 mile mark, many bikers stopped at a local small coffee shop and packed the place. We pretty much overwhelmed the staff, and we all had a good time. Strawberry/rhubarb pie for morning coffee!

We skirted the city of Kitchner and made our way to nearby Breslau and are staying at the Woodland Christian High School. In the city of Breslau, we had a hill to climb that was a 12 percent grade. Fortunately it was not too long. You don't get climbs that steep very often, thankfully. Shannon from our group is from here and works at the school. She had many people along the way welcoming her home.

The weather was pleasant today....near 80 and a great day for biking. We have not had any hot weather for many days now. Julie and her helper Doug had a long day today. They were the first 15 mile SAG stop and then had to leap frog to the 4th Sag stop at 60 miles. The 1st SAG stop vehicle is assigned to pull the port-a-potty for the day.

Tomorrow we head for Hamilton and our stay for the weekend at Redeemer University College. We stayed there one night in the 2008 tour and camped. This time it is for 2 nights and we are staying in the dorms.

We are missing our family and friends, but are doing well and in good health.
